Rules

• No page turners.

• Memory not required for ensemble selections.

• Students may not enter with their teacher as their accompanist or partner.

• Groups may be formed from mixed BRMTA studios.

• Levels will be determined by the average grade of the group.

• ​Concerto division entrants will audition with an accompanist provided by the concerto committee. One rehearsal session the day of audition is available to each entrant.

• Winners will be announced immediately following the conclusion of the auditions.

• Senior concerto winner will perform with the Louisiana Youth Orchestra on the Spring 2020 program.

• Ensemble winners may enter competition the following year.

• ​All students will need to enter the appropriate category based on the grade levels (not lower or higher).
